2012!

So, I'm currently couching it up working on a ton of different things Brandon Jackson Music related. I'm really excited about this upcoming year and I'm so determined to introduce more and more people to me and my music! An artist would be nothing without their fans and I'm grateful for all of you who call yourself Brandon Jackson fans! You are so important to what we do here, and I want to say thanks for helping us spread the word! Keep it up!
If you're wondering how you can help out, there are a ton of ways to do it!
-"Like" the band page on Facebook and share it with all of your Facebook friends.
-Follow us on twitter and enjoy updates from the road.
-If you don't have the cd, go download it from iTunes, or order it online through the website.
-Sign up on the email list through the website.
-Come out to a show! You can check out the show calendar and see when we'll be in your area. Also, share the events on Facebook.
-Call your local radio station and request the current single 'Dancing"! We'll have a list of stations playing the single on the website in the next few days.

I'm sure you saw through Facebook and twitter updates that we had a few rehearsals over the Christmas holidays to update the set for this next year. We have some new originals and have worked up a few new cover tunes to put in the set. We're working hard to keep the live show fresh for the fans and for ourselves. Who wants to see the same show over and over again. I don't! We've also added a new piece of equipment for the live show. We are now traveling with an in-ear rig! We broke it in last week at the show at Riley's Place in Marlow, and couldn't be happier with how it's gonna help with our live sound. A Big thanks to Mike for putting it together! For all you tech peeps, here's a pic:

Sam was out at Outlaws in Stillwater a couple nights ago and got a video of them playing 'Dancing'! A big thanks to Outlaws for playing my music in your club! Very cool.

Ok folks, I've spent all afternoon writing this blog entry as I work back and forth between 20 things! Ha! I have to wrap it up and get to work on some other stuff. I hope you will join us on what promises to be a fun and exciting year! Keep spreading the word and we'll see ya at a show near you!

until next time,
B

Single Debut

Hey hey,
I'm sitting here in my office working on this and that (actually I've done some writing the past few days for the next album!) and I thought I would give everyone a heads up! We've got a lot going on right now and things are really exciting! We will be debuting the new single tomorrow night at K101 in Woodward, OK with Sean Kelly. I hope you can tune in. If you don't live in or around Woodward, you can listen online here.
This week, we'll be at Wall Street Bar in Duncan, OK on Friday, and Wild Rooster Bar in Ft. Worth, TX on Saturday. I hope you can make it to one of the shows this weekend! We also have shows coming up in Lubbock, Wichita Falls, Altus, Oklahoma City, & Coffeyville, KS over the next few months with more to come. Keep up with all the live shows with the calendar at www.brandonjacksonmusic.com.
There are so many ways to get music now a days and I'm proud to say that we are keeping up with the trends of music fans. Not only can you purchase the CD from iTunes, CD Baby, Hastings, Amazon, and at other online stores, you can also stream the CD on Napster, Zune, Rhapsody, and very soon you will be able to find "The Good Times" on Spotify! We have a few more fun announcements to fill you in on once they become reality, so check out the website and also sign up for the email list!

Thanks for being a fan, and keep spreading the word!

Adair's, Woody's, & The Wormy Dog

We've had a great couple of weekends! September is proving to be a great month for us, and we've had a lot of firsts as well. Our first full band shows at Adiar's in Dallas & Wormy Dog in OKC, and we had great turnouts at both places! First full band shows in TX, and we have many more coming up (Lubbock, Yoakum, Big Spring, Wichita Falls)! It was great to see so many longtime friends at the show in Dallas! Thank you guys for coming out! I know we made some new ones too. Same with the show at the Wormy Dog! A lot of new faces mixed in with old friends. Longtime friends, Eli Young Band, brought their bus over to The Dog Thursday night after their show at The Oklahoma State Fair. It was very cool they came out to show their support and hang out for the night! Thanks guys!

Keep Spreading the word and we hope to see ya at a show soon! And remember you can get the CD on iTunes, Amazon, Texas Red Dirt Roads, Lonestarmusic.com, and of course at www.brandonjacksonmusic.com
